Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG)

Performed by Dr. Charles Asa Reynolds

The Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy, often called the "sleeve" is a minimally invasive weight loss surgery that involves removing a portion of the stomach to create a smaller sleeve-shaped stomach. This limits the amount of food your stomach can hold, leading to reduced calorie intake and helping you shed excess weight.

Key Benefits of VSG:

  • Improvement in medical conditions including type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and more
  • Limits the amount of food intake as well as reducing the desire to eat
  • Significant long-term weight loss
  • Improvement in health and overall quality of life
