About Matt

Dr. Matt Gaines is board certified in internal medicine from the University of South Alabama. While training in internal medicine, Gaines particularly liked in-hospital rotations and upon completing residency in 2003, he decided to further his career as a Hospitalist. When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Gaines enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Ashly, and daughter, Abigail.
