Dr. Hosemann is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Mississippi before graduating from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Dr. Hosemann then completed an orthopedic residency at The University of Alabama before completing an additional year of fellowship and specialty training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at The American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham. While completing his fellowship, Dr. Hosemann was the associate physician for Auburn University and the Birmingham Barons.

With specializations in all sports-related injuries, including shoulder, elbow, and knee disorders, Dr. Hosemann is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. In addition to his orthopedic experience, he has experience in on-the-job injuries and navigating workers’ compensation claims.

As a proud husband and father, Dr. Hosemann enjoys staying busy with his family. Also, an avid outdoorsman, he says he can always be found somewhere outside, preferably fishing when he’s not at Capital Ortho.
