Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA)

Nonprofit hospitals are required to complete a Community Health Needs Assessment every three years. The purpose of the assessment is to identify significant health needs that are prominent in the community and develop strategies to assist in addressing those needs. Community input was a vital part of gathering information on various concerns that contributed to the major findings of the assessment. With the feedback obtained, KDMC was able to develop an implementation plan that will span the next three years at which point another assessment will be completed.
