Larry Mills, certified occupational therapist at King’s Daughters Medical Center, was recently appointed to the Council of Advisors for Occupational Therapy by the Mississippi State Board of Health Licensure branch. His term of appointment is for 3 years and begins January 1, 2009. The OT advisory council consists of five members. The purpose of the council is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Department. The Board may seek the counsel of the OT Advisory council regarding disciplinary actions of OT practitioners. Mills is currently managing operations in the hospital’s Quick Care Medical Clinic. |
