King's Daughters Medical Center Announces Inaugural KDMC Kick-Off Classic

Brookhaven, MS – King's Daughters Medical Center, KDMC Physician Clinics, and Copiah-Lincoln Community College are proud to announce the inaugural KDMC Kick-Off Classic. The Classic will consist of two games, which will be played at Stone Stadium on the campus at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. The first game will have Lawrence County playing host to Magee on Thursday August 18, 2016 at 7 p.m. The second game will be Brookhaven High (Ole Brook) playing host to Franklin County on Friday August 19, 2016 at 7 p.m.

David Culpepper, Director of Marketing for KDMC said this is a tremendous opportunity for KDMC to show our dedication to our area schools. KDMC services eight area high schools and Co-Lin with nine certified Athletic Trainers. The sports medicine program is led by orthopaedic surgeon Dr. John E. Turba, CAQ and his well-trained and highly skilled staff. KDMC also has a state-of-the-art therapy center that offers occupational, physical and speech therapy.

Copiah-Lincoln’s campus was chosen as a neutral site for the Classic - all four high schools have a strong history of students attending Copiah-Lincoln. In addition, it allows the student-athletes to participate in a game on a college campus and for potential students and their parents to visit the campus.

"We are very happy to be hosting the Kick-Off Classic on our campus," said Co-Lin President Dr. Ronnie Nettles. "It provides us another opportunity to showcase our campus and to support our local high schools and their student-athletes."

Providing quality health and wellness in a Christian environment.
