Dr.
LeDon Langston
Passion
for the medical
field and love
for his patients
has kept Dr. LeDon
Langston practicing
medicine for over
40 years.
After graduating
from the University
of Mississippi
School of Medicine
in 1967, Dr. Langston
served in the
Air Force as a
flight surgeon
during the Vietnam
War.
It
has been a great
journey and the
patients make
it all worth while
Dr.
Langston completed
his clinical residency
at University
Medical Center
in Jackson and
served as chief
resident of obstetrics/gynecology.
He also received
post-graduate
medical speciality
training from
four top Universities;
Emory University,
John Hopkins Hospital,
Northwestern University
and Vanderbilt
University.
Practicing
as an obstetrician/gynecologist
for 25 years,
Dr. Langston delivered
6,000 babies and
performed 3,000
surgeries. He
has served as
chief of surgery
and chief of staff
while practicing
at the Southwest
Clinic for Women
in McComb.
After
four back surgeries,
Dr. Langston retired.
During retirement,
he was contacted
by the Mississippi
Department of
Health for a medical
consulting position.
For the following
nine years, he
trained nurse
practitioners
and family practice
doctors how to
manage high-risk
cases at the state's
obstetrics clinics,
maternity services
and breast and
cervical cancer
programs. During
his time wiht
the State, he
also taught courses
for graduate and
doctorate programs
at Jackson State
University School
of Public Health.
Dr.
Langston and his
wife of 48 years,
Cherie moved to
Brookhaven to
be near their
daughter, Dr.
Leigh Cher Gray
and her family.
While in Brookhaven,
he started his
most recent medical
career in 2010
at King's Daughters
Medical Clinic
with focus in
general practice.

says Dr. Langston.
Langston
and his wife enjoying
spending time
with their 6 grandchildren-Rivers,
Gracie, Lily,
Cashe, Crawford
and Anabel and
their 3 children-
Gray, Cleve of
Jackson and Shely
Shows of Oxford.
He is also an
avid golfer, enjoys
reading mysteries
and loves to support
Ole Miss athletics.
Dr. Langston attends
the First United
Methodist Church
of Brookhaven.
He is a member
of the Mississippi
State Medical
Organization,
Jackson Gynecic
Society and Central
Medical Society.
Dr.
Langston and the
staff at King's
Daughters Medical
Clinic are helping
patients of all
ages with primary
medical care and
various non-emergency
conditions.
The
KDMC Medical Clinic
also has its own
dedicated laboratory
and x-ray room
to allow it to
operate independently
of the hospital.
Of course, any
patients needing
further evaluation
are referred to
King's Daughters
Medical Center.
King's
Daughters Medical
Clinic is located
at 950 Brookway
Blvd., in front
of Wal-Mart. The
clinic accepts
appointments and
walk-ins from
8 a.m. to 6 p.m.,
Monday through
Friday, and from
8 a.m. to noon
on Saturdays.
